In 1981 Francis Ford Coppola helped revive Abel Gance's film about Napoleon, bringing it to a new audience. This programme was presented at a special screening. It contains essays by Coppola, his father Carmine Coppola, Abel Gance, Kevin Brownlow, Brooks Riley, and Robert Harris, along with black/white stills from the film and its special screening.
